Mission partners

The Missionary Support Committee assist those of our congregation who have been sent by Christ Church into missionary work. They also aim to inform and encourage the congregation to support our missionaries through prayer and finance and to progress Christ Church’s involvement in the great commission here and overseas.

Currently seven Christ Church mission partnerships are supported:

Joy Barker (YWAM, London);
Paul & Kate Bown (WEC, Word Worldwide);
Nigel & Joanne Harman (OM);
Ann Lipson (ICFEM, Kenya);
Nora & Howard Norrish (OM, Islamic Consultants);
Dick & Caroline Seed (CMS, Ghana);

as well as our Missioner-at-large, Zac Niringiye (Church of Uganda).

We are Partners-in-Mission with St Luke’s Church, Ntinda, Uganda, and actively support the work of Sam & Eva Kitalya at the Bushfire Children’s Home, School and Community Clinic (run under Uganda Family Resource Link) in Namutumba district near Jinja.

There are frequent reciprocal visits with our mission partners and members of the congregation to strengthen our links with them and increase our understanding of their work.
