Saturday Morning Prayer Meeting
We meet in the Church Room at 9.15am on alternate Saturday mornings (details can be found in the Bulletin) and we pray for all the activities of the Church and people in need.
Persecuted Christians Prayer and Support Group
Increasing numbers of Christians in many countries are praying for the 250 million persecuted Christians worldwide. In our monthly meetings, our main activity is sharing information and prayer but a number of us also write to our suffering brothers and sisters for their encouragement and also to MPs and others in authority as their advocates.
The Prayer Chain
The prayer chain consists of a small group of (mostly retired) members in the church who count it a privilege to pray for all who would request prayer support for any reason. Requests are handled in strict confidence and, if wished, anonymously. It operates each week – responding to emergency situations arising amongst church members, their families and friends. Prayer requests can be telephoned to 8466 6735 or sent via the church office, preferably by Saturday for distribution to prayer chain members, either by printed sheet on Sunday, or by phone on Monday. Student prayer group
Our student prayer group prays termly for each of our students studying at university for their studies, health, relationships and Christian walk, as well as for any specific requests they send.
